Okay, still have the Carrs insert from Sunday's paper?! It has the $6.99 coupon for the Jennie-O Turkey Burgers that is good until 2/11. If so this is a GREAT deal!!!
The burgers are on sale this week B1G1!
Buy 2 and use the $2/1 from coupons.com (use zip 60625 to find them) and the in-ad coupon and you'll end up paying $4.99 for TWO BAGS! They are regularly $11.99-$12.99/bag.
I bought the max of 4 bags today and the coupons all worked just perfectly. The 95% lean burgers were all out, but I do believe those are 2lb bags.
Hurry because the Carrs coupon is only good until 2/11 which is Saturday!

Carrs isn't my favorite store until they have deals. Then I love it! I loved them yesterday.

Total spent (after oyno's-I figure those in) was under $20.
I didn't have that many coupons to use, but the cart I happened to grab on my way in had two catalina coupons laying in it for, get this, $10 oyno and $2 oyno! I just can't believe folks don't check these before tossing them out! I was pretty excited to get an extra $12 off my shopping bill. My excitement was saddened when I saw the self-service guy cutting up the catalinas people left hanging. Ugh.

Safeway E-Coupons (aka Just for U)
Okay, so Carr's has always bugged me. I have a love/hate relationship with them and this is one of those things that adds to that relationship!
Safeway has a program called "Just for U" for customers in the lower 48 with personalized savings, deals and whatnot. Last week a bunch of them were able to add an e-coupon for a free box of Cherrios to their club card! Well we don't get any of those great deals, but there IS a way to still download some good coupons to your club card.
Start at the Safeway site, not the CarrsQC site because it won't show the Just for U coupons. You should be able to sign in with your Carrs sign in.
There are a few matching in-ad coupons and e-coupons that make for some pretty okay deals this week.
examples-
.75/1 Breyers e-coupon combined with the 2.99 in ad coupon makes for 2.24 ice cream
.55/1 Red Baron Singles e-coupon combined with the 2.49 in ad coupon makes for 1.94 pizza
All manufacturer e-coupons are only good for the purchase of ONE item and cannot be combined with a paper manufacturer coupon.

Carr's Trip and FREE + Overage Toothbrushes!
Carr's has a few decent deals this week! Today is the last day for the B1G1 pistachios deal (check out Elisa's post HERE).

Today ONLY! Frozen California Pizza for .83 at Carr's!
Like CPK on Facebook and print coupons for 1.25 off a frozen pizza. You'll need three, but 2 per computer are allowed. If you can only print two, there is a 1.00 off coupon in the new booklet at Carr's.
Buy 3 while they are 5.00 through TODAY ONLY, use the 5.00 off 15.00 frozen food coupon from yesterday's insert (or pick one up from the flyer in the store). That will bring your total to 10.00, use (3) of the 1.25 coupons and pay 6.25 oop. You'll get (3) 1.25 OYNO's! So really these come out to be .83 each.
It worked, I'm happy to say! And the only problem is that you have to get moving TODAY to get in on this deal.

$10 REI card for purchasing $5 Peanut Butter!
Thanks to Frugal Living NW about this deal!
There are rebate forms hanging right in front of Adam's 100% Natural Peanut Butter at the Fred's in Eagle River, and today it is on sale 2/$5. The rebate is in the form of a $10 REI card when you buy two jars of PB and limited to one per household.
I picked up two forms (one for my mom) and after stopping by Carr's on the way home, they have Adam's P.B. back in the markdown section for $1.65 each! There were probably about a dozen jars left as of noon today.

Rice-A-Roni for .49?!
Carr's has Rice-A-Roni on sale for .99 this week (well, until 1/8) and if the coupon hasn't run out yet, you can find a b3g1 free coupon here. The three you buy have to be Rice-A-Roni and the free one has to be the Pasta-Roni. My coupons last night scanned up at 2.00 each, so I ended up with 6 boxes of rice and 2 boxes of pasta for a total of 3.92. Not to bad!
By the way, the Carr's ads are freaking me out...I can't keep track of what's on sale when. Hopefully it's just getting back into the swing of the normal Wed-Tue ad after the mess of the holiday special ones! :)

My Sad Carr's Trip
I thought maybe, just maybe it wouldn't really happen. Not here. Not so soon. But it did.
No more stacking e-coupons and paper coupons. If you try to use a paper coupon along with an e-coupon that already came off, the register beeps. If the cashier pushes it through, the e-coupon amount gets added back on. And if you have multiple of the same e-coupons only one works per item.
Just letting you all know, which you probably already do anyway.
In a way this will make my life much less complicated and my shopping trip plans much less stressful!
Thankfully, they will still stack Carr's coupons with manufacturer coupons and still take coupons on markdown items...speaking of which there are a lot of laundry and skin care markdown at the Eagle River store near the front. Take your P&G insert along!

Good Deal at Carr's (on junk food!)
We are having a birthday party next weekend, so it's a good time for snacky-junky foods to be on sale!
Carr's currently has Gardettos on sale for 2.89 and b1g1 at that, and I happened to have three .50 e-coupons loaded onto my card from both cellfire and shortcuts, plus the .50 printable, so I bought two bags for .89!
Same deal with the Chex Mix. On sale for 3.19 and b1g1, had four .50 e-coupons, and a printable .50 coupon, so these were two for .69!
Most of these e-coupons expire on the 18th.
The other great deal at Carr's is the Cottonelle bath tissue! There is a Carr's coupon in their weekly ad for 5.99 for the 12 pack/double roll. There should be a blinky machine with 2.00/1 coupons right in front of the product making it 3.99. When you buy two, you get a catalina for 2.00 off your next shopping order, so this equals out to 2.99 for 12 double rolls of paper!

Toothbrush at Carrs
This isn't free, or even close, but it IS a good deal!
Carr's has the Oral B Vitality rechargebale electric toothbrush reduced to 20.99. Use the 3.00 e-coupon from P&G e-Saver and the 10.00/1 Oral B coupon from the last P&G insert, and you have a pretty rockin' toothbrush for 7.99!
I think I'll save mine as a stocking stuffer for somebody.

Make sure the 3.00/1 Oil of Olay Facial Moisturizer or Cleansing Cloth coupon is loaded onto your card, then take the same coupon (it says "Regenerist" on it) from this past week's P&G coupon insert, and buy some very cheap cleanser or towelette wipes! They are currently on sale for 6.47 and with both the mentioned coupons they turn out to be .47. I love these for traveling and especially camping!
