November 1st should be called "Pumpkin Baking Day" in my opinion! I cut, cleaned, baked, scraped, pureed, strained and froze seven pumpkins yesterday. It took hours and hours, but I now have a nice stash of yummy pumpkin in the freezer, and today I happily gave some to my neighbor down the hill, along with a bag of sweet and spicy roasted pumpkin seeds. (Plus she gave to me by letting me borrow her colander!)

Today I'm giving my time. Isn't it funny that we usually say "I'm taking time to do this or that" but sometimes we really should say "I'm giving time to do it." Hmmmm.....I might have to think this one over a bit more while over a cup of coffee. :)
